Do you have any tattoos? If yes, what are they?
Yes, I have a golden eagle, taken from Audubon’s Birds of America–minus the mountains
and its talon piercing the eye of a rabbit. It’s on my left arm.
What was your favorite cartoon as a child?
I remember favoring a few but She-ra and He-man were pretty high on the list.
I had the action figures.
What sport do you most enjoy? Watching or playing?
Archery is the sport I enjoy playing and horse racing is the sport I enjoy watching.
What is your ideal weekend?
Going for a hike, horseback riding, or boating in one of the beautiful places in our land of the
Pacific Northwest. Then some antiquing or thrifting, then grocery shopping and
sharing food and drinks with friends.
If you were reincarnated and could choose what you become, what would it be?
I think I would like to be an octopus because they can go so far down into the ocean
and probably see so much more than we are able to. Also, they can squeeze into tiny places
and they have eight arms!
When was the last time you cried?
Last Saturday when I had some wine and was getting confessional in conversation
with a close friend.
What’s something you can’t bring yourself to get rid of?
My Helmut Lang coat I bought in Paris the winter of 1999. It has missing teeth from its zipper,
bleach stains, dirt stains, but I just love it.
What’s something you won and how did you win it?
I won $300 once playing blackjack on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. I’m not much of a gambler
but it was really exciting.
What’s the best costume you have ever worn?
My favorite costume was for Halloween a couple years ago. I was Rasputin. It was really fun
wearing a beard and looking creepy.
